Fangst - Fangst Sinatra

With a record filled with direct and raw songs, Fangst follows up on their critically acclaimed debut with the album Fangst Sinatra. While other bands are in the middle of a PR campaign for a single they released sometime last year, Fangst is already working on writing their next album. Not because of willingness or convenience, but because there's a musical itch that never subsides among all four members.

A band that would rather spend three days on a record, not three months, speaks to the intensity, self-confidence, and the somewhat arrogant tendencies the band often exudes. Something they can rightfully do, given that the music speaks for itself.

In today's focus on the story behind the music, Fangst are craftsmen working with wood and nails in a world of AI and plastic. They are artists equipped with canvas, paint, and a brush, rather than a touchscreen with apps. Because there is still something irreplaceably beautiful about the flawed, an energy that can't be measured in kilowatt-hours and other units.

In their short lifespan, Fangst has managed to release critically acclaimed music, tour for thousands of homes, open the main stage at the Øyafestivalen in 2023, and be hired as support for half of the band's childhood idols – KISS.

Fangst Sinatra is the result of a band resetting the clock. And the man whose name graces Fangst's second album is united with the band in their belief in music. Sinatra once said: "The troubadour will be around - the ballad singer - because I think the world loves a lover, and they love a guy who plays a guitar and sings pretty songs."

Here are Fangst's pretty songs.
